AHAI GIRLS PREP JAMBOREE
The Girls' Prep Jamboree is sponsored by AHAI and is the first step in the identification process of Illinois’ top female players who turn 14 and 15 years old in the year of the event, whether these girls play on Girls teams or Youth teams. Presidents of organizations and coaches of girl players in the appropriate birth years are sent recommendation forms. Upon receiving recommendations from coaches across Illinois, as well as other independent evaluators, AHAI’s Player Development Committee meets to review the recommendations and narrow the field of players. As many as 40 players will then be invited to participate in the day-long Jamboree. The Jamboree itself included classroom sessions, games, lunch and meetings with AHAI officials.

This year four Falcons girls team players were selected to participate,  Maddie P, Haley C, Jessie G from the U14 team and Katy K from the U16 team.

The 2008 Girls Prep Jamboree was held on January 21, 2008 at the Edge in Bensenville.
